We started Milanzo because booking a wedding vendor in our part of Bengal was harder than it needed to be. You ask a relative. They give you a number. You call, and nobody picks up. Someone forwards you a price list screenshot from two years ago. You see beautiful photos on WhatsApp, but you have no idea if the person who shot them is the person who will come on your day.
People in Kolkata have it easier. People in Berhampore, Durgapur, Siliguri and the villages around them do not — even though the talent is right there. So we made one place where you can see the work, see the price, read what other couples said, and call the person yourself. Our team checks every vendor before they show up here, and takes them off if the work stops being good.

A day when a couple in any small town or village in India can plan their whole wedding from their phone — and hire people as good as anyone in the big cities. The talent is already there in our cities. It just needs to be easy to find.
To take the guesswork out of hiring for the biggest day of your life. Real work you can see, prices you can compare, honest reviews, and a local person you can actually call — so you are not booking on hope.
We look at full weddings they have shot or worked on — not one lucky photo. We want to see the same quality from the morning haldi to the late-night reception. We call their old clients. We check whether they answer their phone, and whether they delivered on time.
And we keep checking after they are listed. When new reviews come in, we read them. If a vendor stops doing good work or stops replying to couples, we take them off the site. That is the whole promise.
