Milanzo helps couples in West Bengal find wedding vendors they can trust. This page explains what we do with your information when you look at the site, send an enquiry, write a review, or list your business. It covers milanzo.in and every page on it. If anything here is unclear, write to us and we will explain it.
Information We Collect
Information you give us
- When you send an enquiry — your name, phone number, email, wedding date, town and whatever you write in the message.
- If you list a business — the email you sign in with, your business name, what you do, the cities you cover, your prices, your photos and your contact details.
- When you write a review — your rating, what you wrote, any photos you add, and the name you want shown.
- When you message us — anything you send through the contact form, the help page, WhatsApp or email.
Information collected automatically
- What you look at — which vendor pages you open, which parts you read, and for how long. We show vendors this as numbers only, so they can improve their page. They never see your name from this.
- Your device — what browser and phone or computer you use, roughly which area you are in, and which site sent you here.
We never ask for or store your card number on this site. When a vendor pays a listing fee, a payment company handles it. We only keep a record of the amount and whether it went through.
How We Use Your Information
- To pass your enquiry to the vendor you picked, so they can call you back.
- To set up and protect a vendor account, including sending the one-time code you sign in with.
- To display vendor listings, reviews and ratings on the marketplace.
- To show vendors how many people opened their page and saved it — as counts, not names.
- To stop fake listings, spam and people copying our data.
- To email you about your enquiry, your listing, or a change to this page. We only send promotional email if you agree to it, and you can stop it any time with one click.
- To follow the law and pay our taxes.
When We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these situations:
- With the vendor you contact. When you submit an enquiry, the vendor receives the details you entered so they can reply. Contacting one vendor never shares your details with any other.
- With service providers who run parts of our operation on our behalf — hosting, email delivery and payment processing. They may use your data only to provide that service to us.
- Where the law requires it, or to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim, or to protect the safety of our users.
- In a business transfer, if Milanzo is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. We will tell you before your information becomes subject to a different policy.
Cookies & Analytics
We use only a few cookies. Some are needed to keep you signed in and to stop other websites misusing our forms — the site will not work without those. The rest just tell us which pages people find useful. You can block cookies in your browser settings, but then signing in will not work.
How Long We Keep Data
- Enquiries — kept while the vendor may still need to respond and for a reasonable period afterwards for dispute resolution, then deleted or anonymised.
- Vendor accounts and listings — kept for as long as the listing is active, and for a limited period after closure so the account can be restored.
- Reviews — kept for as long as the vendor profile exists, because they form part of the public record other couples rely on.
- Analytics events — kept in aggregate form; identifying details are stripped.
How We Protect Your Data
Everything you send to Milanzo travels encrypted. Signing in uses a one-time code instead of a password wherever we can. Uploaded files are stored in a way that stops them being used to attack the site. No website is perfectly safe, so we also make sure only the few people who need your information can see it.
Your Rights & Choices
You may ask us to:
- give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- correct anything that is inaccurate or out of date;
- delete your information, where we are not required to keep it;
- stop sending you marketing email, at any time;
- restrict or object to a particular use of your data.
Write to support@milanzo.in and we will reply within 30 days. We may ask you to prove who you are first, so nobody else can request your details.
Vendor & Partner Data
If you list a business on Milanzo, the details you publish — business name, category, service areas, starting price, portfolio and reviews — are public by design, and search engines may index them. Your sign-in email, internal notes, enquiry history and payment records are not public. Enquiry contact details you receive through Milanzo may be used only to respond to that enquiry; adding them to a marketing list is a breach of our partner terms.
Children’s Privacy
Milanzo is for adults planning a wedding or running a wedding business. We do not knowingly take information from anyone under 18. If you think a child has given us their details, tell us and we will delete it.
Changes To This Policy
We may update this policy as the platform changes. The “last updated” date at the top always reflects the current version, and we will give notice on the site before a material change takes effect.
